Cars of Our Cricketers

All Indians idolize our Indian cricket team. Our curiosity to know more about their lifestyle, their desires, their passions always remains intact. Getting a step closer to their private lives, here we bring you their passion for cars. Our Cricketers have a great passion for cars and they are also avid collectors of them.

Sachin Tendulkar has become the living God for all cricket fans. So, we begin this article by talking about his car.

Sachin was awarded the Ferrari 360 Modena. In fact, we all remember the hullaboo that happened when the batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar had requested a custom duty waiver on the car. The Ferrari 360 Modena was gifted to him by FIAT, after the Mumbai batsman equalled the late Don Bradman's tally of 29 Test centuries.

We have come to know that though Sachin Tendulkar likes his car to be chauffeur-driven, but sometimes he takes wife and kids out for a ride in his dashing Ferrari whenever he is on touting for India.  

In addition to the Ferrari, master blaster Sachin Tendulkar owns two ultimate status-symbols, a silver-coloured Mercedes-Benz and a black Opel Astra, which he won in a Sharjah tournament for his outstanding performance.

Former vice caption of the Indian cricket team, Virender Sehwag, adores cars and owns a BMW 5 Series. Sehwag prefers to drive his BMW 5 Series either early in the morning or late at night as he feels it is the best time to drive in calm and relaxed way.

Open Gautam Gambhir loves speed! This guy from the capital city is also obsessed with cars. The Indian opener was on the headlines when he test drove the 1600cc Formula Ford car.

Delhi Daredevil Gautam Gambhir owns a Toyota Corolla, Maruti SX4 and a Hyundai Santro. However, Gambhir prefers to be driven rather than drive himself. His dream car is to own a BMW model and we all know Gambhir will make his dream come true.

Mr. Consistent Rahul Dravid drives a Hyundai Tucson. The former Indian skipper was gifted the Tucson by the International Cricket Council for being the best Test Player for the year 2004.
